Ok, i love playing the monk, i love healing spells

I love keeping everyone alive...

I hate getting walloped within 30seconds by a warrior.

I need help guys, there must be a skill that you can suggest to help me fend off the inevitable warrior running str8 at me!!!

I dont mind which secondary... i just need a skill to incapacitae or otherise stop a war from panning seven shades out of me

Most of it comes down to kiting. Basicly moving away from the warrior through strafing, to slow down the number of attacks you take and avoid critical hits.

In GvG, positioning makes it easier to avoid warriors, because you can force them to overextend through your lines, putting themselves at risk. In arena however, its a little more difficult. Generally a heal monk is going to get owned by a decent warrior, theres no real way round it. In a team build you would have someone in there with warrior shutdown to help you, in random arena you wont.

What I would suggest is running a slightly more durable build, like a Boon Prot.

Instead of running the best secondary defense for this weekend is Return and Recall. Cast Recall on someone at the beginning and cancel it when a warrior comes close. Have fun!
